Pipefreezing in London
IPS were called to attend a difficult to access freeze in the roof area at Beaufort House, Aldgate, by ZJ Building Services.
Work was required to enable replacement of an existing flow meter. Access was via a goods lift to the 11th floor, then all equipment needed to be manually carried up access stairs to the roof area. It certainly saves on the gym fees!
Beaufort House is a fully refurbished Grade A office building close to Aldgate and Liverpool Street stations, providing fully serviced and furnished offices.
IPS carried out 2 x 250mm freezes to the CHW mains, holding in place until the new meter was safely installed.
